The only thing worse than having your mobile device run out of battery, is having your device run out of battery with no charger on hand.

The CaliBuilt LLC team just developed a solution to aid this stranded without your charger crisis. Just remove your belt, and plug in your phone.

There now exists the “Volt Buckle”- the first ever belt mobile device charger that also conveniently holds up your pants.  The buckle is only available on its fundraising page, since the group is looking to reach $60,000 in pledges in order to start production. Being a USB product, the Volt Buckle charges iPhones, some Androids and iPads. It also provides sync capability.

The creators anticipate the future Volt Buckle will have a back up battery, and a discrete connector for charging without having to remove your belt.
