With the introduction of Siri, the voice controlled personal assistant, it’s only a matter of time until voice control gets more refined and spreads wider. When that happens there are two possibilities.

First (and most likely), it won’t actually work as well as it’s supposed to out in-the-wild, like so:

Or it could actually work pretty well. So well in fact that we get conditioned to the ease and immediacy of instant, voice activated answers to any question or command we can dream up. You know, like how the internet and Google killed the card catalog and Encyclopedia Britannica.
